i was a single mom, casually saving lives as a 9-1-1 operator. 

(ahem…still single, so if you’re in the matchmaking business…)

as you’d probably imagine, that job wasn’t easy. 

i was always in survival mode, burned out, and hardly present in my body most days. 

…writing is likely what kept me alive. 

see, i’ve always been a writer. 

it’s how i expressed myself as a kid, and it was my side hustle when i was in the comms center.

lucky for me, i know quite a few entrepreneurs, and i’ve always had this oddly intuitive understanding of marketing + positioning – so i’d write all types of (what i now know to be) marketing copy for my friends. 

that’s when i realized that what came to me naturally – was actually something really special. 

writing was my saving grace. 

after a very serious mental health spiral, i decided that my daughter deserved a present parent and i deserved a calm nervous system. 

so here i am…

tens of thousands of dollars in copywriting + marketing education, hundreds of hours of therapy, and $300K+ in client-generated revenue later…
